A collaborative documentary about deconstruction – Detroit, MI
Reclaim Detroit was a short documentary I worked on with furniture design professor John DeHoog. Detroit, Michigan is home to some of the most blight per square mile in the United States. While the majority of these blighted structures are recommended by the city for demolition, deconstruction presents itself as a very appealing alternative. In this short film, we interview several business owners and individuals who promote and make use of deconstruction and present the benefits for the local economy.
